Two of my Favorite digg articles from this week would have to be the “Creative Advertisment from WWF” and the “someone at microsoft is taking LSD…” These two diggs would have to be my favorite because i love when people use creative ads to really get a point across and make you remember the ad for along time, i also love the microst background because its really funky and im into that kind of abstract art.

Uses for Google Sketchup

               Sketchup is a 3D modeling Program designed for architects, civil engineers, filmmakers, game developers, and related professions. It also includes features to facilitate the placement of models in Google Earth. It was designed to be easier to use than other 3D CAD programs. A feature of SketchUp is the 3D Warehouse that lets SketchUp users search for models made by others and contribute models.

 This software is very useful for anyone who needs to see what a house or bulding will look like when it is finished . even if someone who is plainning on painting their house or adding a window or anyother type of extension onto there house to see what it would look like.  Scethc up is just one more useful application the google has released to help us out in our everyday lives and to make things just that much easier!!!

Internet Privacy Concerns

Google Latitude is a location-aware mobile app developed by Google Inc. Latitude allows a mobile phone user to allow certain other people on his or her Gmail contact list to track where he or she is. These people can track the user (or more accurately, his or her phone) on Google Maps via their own iGoogle accounts.

No, i dont think that employers should use the internet to find employes, even though it is an easy alternative to using written resumes, it is easy to come across people who have lied about there information and could be a complete waste of time.
Some other privacy concers in the internet are things such as myspace and facebook, these make it easy for people to find your location and know everything about you. having your name and adress on the internet is bad because anyone in the world can acess this information. Having your image on the internet is also not good because people can see what you look like and if intrested they will be able to find the information from the picture and track where you are.
This could be a possible privacy concern because you way not want everyone on your contact list to know where you are all the time. and it may cause people to come and mett you when they are not wanted. it may also be used by other people who you are not friends with you to find you and possibly stalk you.

Obama has used many different ways of communicating with his supporters through out his campaign trail, he has had a huge affect on the world, and more youth voters have voted this year than in any other US election. Obama has taught us that politics doesn’t have to be boring all you have to do is relate to your audience. Some of the things that Obama has done throughout his campaign trail to reach his voters include, Making a Guest appearance on such shows as Saturday night live, and ellen, as well as posting his campaign ads in many video games including Madden 09, Need for speed, and many others.
Barack Obama’s presidential campaign has found an interesting new way to reach young voters: Campaign ads in the Madden video game. TheHill.com reports that Obama has purchased space in Madden NFL 09. If you’re playing the game on your Xbox you might see an Obama sign in the stands or an Obama billboard outside the stadium. Players will only see the ads if they’re playing online in one of the 10 swing states that the campaign is targeting: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Indiana, Montana, North Carolina, New Mexico, Nevada, Ohio and Wisconsin. The ads started running last week and will be visible until the day before Election Day. In addition to Madden, Obama has bought ads in nine other EA video games: Burnout Paradise, NASCAR 09, NHL 09, NBA Live 08, Need For Speed: Carbon, Need For Speed: ProStreet, NFL Tour, and Skate.
The Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, jetted in from New Hampshire, to be on The hit television program Saturday night live the past week. This is not Obama’s first appearance on SNL. During the primary, he appeared opposite Amy Poehler’s Hillary Clinton in a skit about a Halloween costume party in which Obama came dressed as … Barack Obama. “I have nothing to hide,” he said in the skit. “I enjoy being myself. I’m not going to change who I am just because it’s Halloween.”
Barack Obama Has blazed a trail for American politicians in the years to come and it will hard to follow an act as brilliant as his. He has reached out to millions of Americans through many ways including modern technology. Video games, Popular Television and Internet are just a few of the ways Obama won this election and I believe that politicians will continue to use these methods if they are to follow his foot steps. Obama has taught us that politics doesn’t have to be boring all you have to do is relate to your audience

       The mophie juice pack is a a battery pack that doubles the battery life of the 1st gen iphone and the ipod touch. This is a great idea for anyone who has an ipod touch or iphone and is out of the house alot.

there are many ways that this useful device would come in handy. One example of this would be the airplane. if you have ever taken a flight with your ipod you would know that the battery life never lasts as long as you would like, and always ends up dying. with the mphie juice pack all you have to do is attach it to your ipod and flick a switch, and you have double the battery life of your ipod touch or iphone.

    Another example of this device would be anyone who is in a different country and has a charger that doesnt fit the countries electrical outputs. with the device you will be able to conserve more energy without having to charge your device as frequently.

   All around i think that this device is an awesome way for you to have the battery life that you need when you need it. =)
